Steadby ("Steadby," "we," "us") provides a done-for-you setup service and a self-serve kit for an AI assistant system that runs on the customer's own computer. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. Questions: hello@steadby.com

Who we are

Steadby is an independent, operator-run sole proprietorship in the United States. You can reach us at hello@steadby.com

What we collect

Waitlist form: your email address.
Application form: your name, email, role and company, your answers about what you want the system to handle and what data it would touch, your timezone, and your availability.
Payment: if you buy, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of the payment and your contact details. We never see or store your full card number; Stripe handles that.
Correspondence: anything you send us by email.
Basic server logs: our website host may record standard technical data (such as IP address and page requests) for security and reliability.

What we do NOT collect

The Steadby system is installed on your own computer and runs on your own accounts and your own Claude Code subscription. Your working data (your emails, calendar, files, and the information the system keeps for you) stays on your machine. We do not host it, transmit it to ourselves, or store it. During a setup session you may choose to show us parts of your setup; we do not retain copies.

How we use what we collect

To review your application and decide fit.
To contact you, schedule sessions, and deliver the service.
To process your payment and send receipts.
To provide support during your engagement.
To improve the product.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary with the tools that run the business:

Stripe for payments.
Tally for the waitlist and application forms.
Our email provider to correspond with you.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep application and customer records for as long as needed to run the engagement and meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing hello@steadby.com; we will do so except where we are required to keep records.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, including limiting who can access it. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

Email hello@steadby.com to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to unsubscribe from the waitlist.

Cookies

Our website uses minimal cookies, limited to what is needed for the site and its forms to function. We do not run advertising trackers.

Children

Steadby is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
